And now there's Twitter, too

Thank heavens I don't have the appropriate technology to Twitter on a regular basis. I just follow the few and long for newer technology. Perhaps one day...

Must run. Haven't knit a stitch since noon - time is getting away!

Happy Summer all.

Time slips away

Jeeehossifat! Pardon the creative speeling. I realize now why I spend most of my free time at the monitor - I follow too many blogs. I only added the ones I check regularly - heaven help me if I tried to add them all - what an eye opener. To that end I believe I will cease this monograph and pursue more important activities, mostly an admixture of household chores and practice of the hobby-mania.

Snow day

I took an extra day off today - I never do that. One can cook, clean, organize, play. Guess which I chose. It wasn't cleaning, I assure you.

I finished and blocked an afghan for one of my married offspring. I started another for the next child in line. I am working out of stash, so this is an economically sound decision. I am really trying to finish a few of the dozens of projects I have on the needles, but startitis is beginning to take hold and there are always reasons to find more yarn...gotta run - must knit some before family notices that I am idle...

Bizarro World

Been a while. No time for this, yet I wonder. Is it just me or does the RNC seem to be a throwback to a couple of decades ago? I mean - a woman for Vice President? That's so eighties. Then the speechifying seems to have been dredged up from the Newtie era - what is up with that? My progeny remind me that republicans are people too. Mean, stingy, greedy people.

Now, there are some people I know who are republican and not nearly so smarmy as the conventioneers. Maybe it's the crowd. In large groups they make my skin crawl.

Just my opinion this evening. Hope all are happy, joyous and free tonight.

Still nothing to declare

I suppose that I should feel free to express whatever thoughts I have, but that's rather personal, don't you think?

While we are baring our souls, does anyone else have trouble managing time? I certainly do and to that end, I think I must sighn (Freudian slip, that) off. One day I intend to post pictures of FOs, but that will take some doing...

How time flies

I may try to do this more often. Just what I need - more to do, and yet, there are so many blogs out there being written by people far more busy than I seem to be. A Haiku:

How can I keep up
With family, work, and school
I run constantly.

If only one could receive a good grade for intentions...

Looking at the moon

Looking at the moon

I really must learn how to do this - it's all the rage now, isn't it?
